See Boys Be Good designer Shawn Moriarty's new work at E9: Design - Mass Fad Discharge, the exhibition culmination of Transformer's 2012 installment of the Exercises program! From the press release: Maria Habib, facilitator for E9: Design states: "During the daily grind, designers are often tasked with clearly and critically relaying a message on behalf of a client. So what to do when this ‘message’ may be silly, far-fetched or if it actually isn't conveying anything at all? You bullshit. These three talented designers of E9: Design took this opportunity to exercise what they do best: give meaning to the meaningless, highlight the absurd, and have fun along the way. They explored themes of visual language fads and over-consumption and resulting constipation. All framed with a golden shimmer for the viewer to bedazzled!

See new work from Boys Be Good Co-Founder Christopher Cunetto in Natural Fallacy, curated by 229 Collective and Aether Art Projects. From 229 Collective's website: Drawing on themes of the natural and the hybrid, Natural Fallacy is a group show curated by 229Collective in collaboration with Aether Art Projects. In philosophy, natural fallacy is the conclusion that value in terms of good and bad is based in nature. What is natural is good, therefore what is unnatural is bad. The notion of natural fallacy comes as a broken concept, the invalidity of a fallacy is integral to its meaning. This show addresses how that idea can be re-presented and complicated in contemporary composite forms and with the integration of technology. The show combines 2D, 3D, and sound works with an emphasis on mixed media.
