I learned the value of suffering in concurrence with my learning of superficiality. My work reflects this personal fundamental by always existing in a state of irony whereby a duality between a serious concept is coupled with a charming visuality. In some ways my art making is a decorative process in which I manipulate materials in an effort to render my concepts beautifully.
